Subscription Terms

Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Last Updated: January 23, 2026

These Subscription Terms govern your subscription to Honeybee CRM and are incorporated into our Terms of Service. By subscribing to Honeybee CRM, you agree to these terms.

1. Subscription Plans

1.1 Available Plans

Honeybee CRM offers subscription plans at various tiers to meet different business needs. Current plans and pricing are available on our website at https://honeybeecrm.io/pricing.

1.2 Plan Features

Each subscription plan includes specific features, user limits, and capabilities as described on our pricing page. Feature availability may vary by plan tier.

2. Billing Periods

2.1 Monthly Subscriptions

  • Billing Cycle: Monthly subscriptions are billed on the same date each month (your "billing date"), starting from the date of your initial subscription.
  • Payment: Payment is due at the beginning of each billing cycle and is charged automatically to your payment method on file.
  • Pro-rated Charges: If you upgrade mid-cycle, you will be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the current billing period.

2.2 Annual Subscriptions

  • Billing Cycle: Annual subscriptions are billed once per year on your subscription anniversary date (your "renewal date").
  • Payment: The full annual fee is due at the beginning of each annual period and is charged automatically to your payment method on file.
  • Discount: Annual subscriptions typically include a discount compared to monthly billing. The specific discount is shown on our pricing page.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Monthly Subscription Cancellation

Cancellation Deadline: To cancel your monthly subscription, you must submit your cancellation request before the 1st of the month. Cancellations submitted on or after the 1st will take effect at the end of the following month.

  • How to Cancel: Cancel through your account settings under Billing > Subscription, or contact support@honeybeecrm.io.
  • Access After Cancellation: You will retain access to Honeybee CRM until the end of your current billing period.
  • No Refunds: Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current month.

Example: If you cancel on January 15th, your cancellation takes effect on February 1st, and you will have access through January 31st. If you cancel on February 1st or later, your cancellation takes effect on March 1st.

3.2 Annual Subscription Cancellation

Cancellation Deadline: To cancel your annual subscription, you must submit your cancellation request before your annual renewal date. Cancellations prevent automatic renewal but do not provide refunds for the current annual period.

  • How to Cancel: Cancel through your account settings under Billing > Subscription, or contact support@honeybeecrm.io.
  • Access After Cancellation: You will retain access to Honeybee CRM until the end of your current annual subscription period.
  • No Refunds: Annual subscriptions are non-refundable. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not refund any portion of the current annual period.

Example: If your annual subscription renews on March 15th and you cancel on March 1st, your subscription will not renew, and you will have access through March 14th of the following year. If you cancel on March 15th or later, your subscription will have already renewed for another year.

4. Downgrades

4.1 Monthly Subscription Downgrades

  • Downgrade Deadline: To downgrade your monthly subscription, submit your request before the 1st of the month.
  • Effective Date: Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
  • Feature Access: You will retain access to your current plan features until the downgrade takes effect.
  • Data Considerations: If your current usage exceeds the limits of your new plan, you may need to reduce usage before the downgrade takes effect.

4.2 Annual Subscription Downgrades

  • Downgrade Deadline: To downgrade your annual subscription, submit your request before your annual renewal date.
  • Effective Date: Downgrades take effect at the start of your next annual billing cycle.
  • Feature Access: You will retain access to your current plan features until your renewal date.
  • No Mid-Term Downgrades: Annual subscriptions cannot be downgraded mid-term. You must wait until your renewal date for the downgrade to take effect.

5. Upgrades

5.1 Immediate Upgrades

You may upgrade to a higher-tier plan at any time during your subscription period. Upgrades take effect immediately upon confirmation, and you will have instant access to the features of your new plan.

5.2 Pro-Rated Billing

How Proration Works: When you upgrade mid-cycle, we calculate the unused portion of your current plan and credit it toward the cost of your new plan. You only pay the difference for the remaining days in your billing period.

5.3 Monthly Subscription Upgrades

  • Immediate Access: Your new plan features are available immediately upon upgrade confirmation.
  • Pro-Rated Charge: You will be charged a pro-rated amount for the price difference between your current plan and the new plan for the remainder of your current billing cycle.
  • Billing Date: Your billing date remains unchanged. Your next full billing cycle will be charged at the new plan rate.

Example: If you are on the Starter plan ($249/month) and upgrade to the Growth plan ($599/month) on day 15 of a 30-day billing cycle, you will be charged approximately $175 for the remaining 15 days (the pro-rated difference of $350/month × 15/30 days).

5.4 Annual Subscription Upgrades

  • Immediate Access: Your new plan features are available immediately upon upgrade confirmation.
  • Pro-Rated Charge: You will be charged a pro-rated amount for the price difference between your current annual plan and the new annual plan for the remainder of your annual period.
  • Renewal Date: Your annual renewal date remains unchanged. Your next renewal will be at the new plan's annual rate.

Example: If you are on the Starter annual plan ($2,388/year or $199/month equivalent) and upgrade to the Growth annual plan ($5,748/year or $479/month equivalent) with 6 months remaining, you will be charged approximately $1,680 for the remaining 6 months (the pro-rated difference of $280/month × 6 months).

5.5 Upgrade Process

To upgrade your subscription:

  1. Navigate to your account settings under Billing > Subscription
  2. Select "Change Plan" or "Upgrade"
  3. Review the available plans and select your desired tier
